Fred Everett Moore

Fred Everett Moore, of Sadieville, KY. passed away Thursday, November 10 at the home of his grandson in Georgetown, KY. at the age of 89. Mr. Moore was born November 19, 1921 in New Columbus (Owen County), KY. to the late John Moore and Grace Wright Moore. Mr. Moore was a lifelong farmer and a World War II Army veteran. At the time of his passing he was a member of the Ray's Fork Baptist Church in Scott County. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his wife: Ida Moore in 2002 and by a daughter: Linda Cottrell in 2009. He was also preceded in death by a sister: Mary Jane Green and by brothers: Cecil Moore, Floyd Moore and Luther Moore. Mr. Moore leaves to mourn his passing a grandson: Chris (Pam) Cottrell of Georgetown, KY., Son-In-Law: George Cottrell of Georgetown, KY., a great grandson: Alex Cottrell of Lawrenceburg, KY., 2 stepgrandchildren: Chad & Kayla Dawson of Georgetown, KY. and a step great, great grandson: Landon Dawson of Georgetown, KY. Graveside services for Mr. Moore will be conducted Tuesday, November 15 at 11:00 am at the Corinth Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 5-9 pm in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth.
