Alvan Keith Berry

Alvan Keith Berry, of Corinth, KY. passed away on Tuesday, November 8 at the Kindred Hospital in Louisville, KY. at the age of 89. Mr. Berry was born March 31, 1922 in Robertson County, KY. to the late Garret and Edith Berry and was a graduate of Sunrise High School. Mr. Berry retired from operating a TV and Radio repair shop in Corinth and was an accomplished artist as well as enjoying model railroads. Mr. Berry served his country in the US Navy during World War II. Mr. Berry was preceded in death by his wife: Pauline Berry and by his second wife: Genevieve Wilson Berry. He was also preceded in death by a son: Alvan Scott Berry in 1968. Mr. Berry is survived by a son: Tim Berry and his wife, Jieun of Seoul, South Korea and by 3 granddaughters: Alyssa Berry of Columbus, OH., Courtney Berry & Megan Berry both of Waynesboro, PA. He has 1 great grandchild: Hayden Berry of Columbus, OH. Funeral services for Mr. Berry will be conducted Wednesday, November 16 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Gary Bertram officiating. Visitation will be on Wed. November 16 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial with military honors will be in the Raven Creek Cemetery, Harrison County.
