Margaret Louise Colson

Margaret Louise Hammond "Maggie" Colson, of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday, November 1 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 77. Mrs. Colson was born August 12, 1934 in Cincinnati, OH. to the late Kenneth Hammond and Willena Jones Hammond Petrie. Mrs. Colson was a retired clerk for the Internal Revenue Service and a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church. Mrs. Colson attended the Cincinnati Art Academy and was an accomplished painter. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Colson was preceded in death by her husband: Harry Colson and by a brother: William Joseph Petrie. Mrs. Colson leaves to mourn her passing a son, Anthony Kamren Colson of Williamstown, KY. and a sister: Jacqueline Gardner of Dry Ridge, KY. Funeral services for Mrs. Colson will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, Nov. 5 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Susan Quinn-Bryan officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 pm. Burial will be in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery, Corinth.
