Juanita Drysdale, of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away Thursday, October 27 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown at the age of 90. Mrs. Drysdale was born January 15, 1921 in Cincinnati, OH. to the late Ray Clontz and Lou Clontz. Mrs. Drysdale was a homemaker and a former store clerk for W.R. Case Grocery in Crittenden and for many years was a cook for the Dry Ridge Elementary School and Middle School. Mrs. Drysdale was a longtime member of the Sherman Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for 50+ years. She was a member of the church WMU and she was a member of the Gideons Auxilliary. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Drysdale was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy E. Drysdale who passed away Nov. 30, 2008 and by a daughter, Robin Jill Drysdale Jones in 1979. Mrs. Drysdale leaves to mourn her passing a son: Mike Drysdale and his wife Mary Sue of Dry Ridge, KY. 2 sisters: Bonnie (Jim) Coldiron of Atlanta, GA. and Barbara (Jerry) Bishop of Lexington, KY., 3 grandchildren: Doug (LeAnnda) Drysdale of Crittenden, KY., Jennifer Myatt of Dry Ridge, KY. and Chelsey Drysdale of Dry Ridge, KY. 2 great grandchildren: Dawson Myatt of Dry Ridge, KY. and Kinslee Drysdale of Crittenden, KY. Funeral services for Mrs. Drysdale will be conducted 2:00 pm Monday, Oct. 31 at the Sherman Baptist Church with Rev. David Tucker officiating. Visitation will be 4-8 pm on Sunday, Oct. 30 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
