Mildred Rogers Davis

Mildred Rogers Davis, of Elsmere, KY. and formerly of Grant County, passed away Tuesday, October 11 at the Woodcrest Manor Nursing Home in Elsmere, KY. at the age of 95. Mrs. Davis was born October 13, 1915 in Osgood, Indiana to the late Henry Clay Harrison and Fannie Sprague Harrison. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and former store clerk and enjoyed quilting, and at the time of her passing she was a member of the Gardnersville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husbands, James Lee Rogers and Raymond Davis as well as her daughter, Juanita Barnett and a brother, Roger Clay Harrison. Mrs. Davis is survived by sons: Gordon Rogers, Larry Rogers and Jon Rogers, all of Cincinnati, OH. She has 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 6 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Davis will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, Oct. 14 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be there on Friday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
