Danny Lee Bowling

Danny Lee Bowling, Sr., of Dry Ridge, KY. passed away at his residence on Sunday, October 9 at the age of 56. Mr. Bowling was born July 18, 1955 in Oneida, TN. to the late Halk Bowling and Lucille Sexton Bowling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Marshall "Buddy" Bowling. He was a heavy equipment operator for Norfolk Southern Railroad and enjoyed motorcycles, golf cart repair and at the time of his passing was a member of the New River Baptist Church in Helenwood, TN. Mr. Bowling is survived by his wife, Kimberly Hughes. He has 1 son: Danny Lee Bowling, Jr. of Oneida, TN. and 3 stepdaughters: Tommie Creeger of Clovis, New Mexico, Tara Dawn Napier of Dry Ridge, KY. and Jolynn Elizabeth Napier of Dry Ridge, KY. He is also survived by 2 sisters: Erma Oakes and Ann Lawson, both of Helenwood, TN. and 3 brothers: Steve Bowling of Helenwood, TN., Arnold Bowling of Winfield, TN. and Charles Bowling of Helenwood, TN. He has 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:30 pm Tuesday, Oct. 11 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will be there on Tuesday from 5-8:30 pm. Additional services and visitation will be on Wednesday in Huntsville, TN. Burial will be in the Newport Cemetery, Helenwood, TN.
