Mary Elizabeth Stubbs

Mary Elizabeth Yoste Stubbs, of Cynthiana, KY. passed away Monday, May 9 at her daughter's residence in Berry, KY. Mrs. Stubbs was born July 14, 1926 in Robertson County, KY. to the late Herman Yoste and Lora Bryant Yoste. Mrs. Stubbs was a homemaker and a former store clerk for Lerman Brothers and the Howard Brothers Discount Store in Cynthiana, KY. She attended the Stonewall First Church of God and she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Baird Stubbs who passed away July 5, 1983. Mrs. Stubbs is survived by 2 sons: Wayne Dennis (Judy) Ware of Salvisa, KY. and Mark (Candy) Stubbs of Cynthiana, KY. She has 2 daughters: Brenda (Jobie) Howard of Cynthiana, KY. and Kathy (Skip) Wiglesworth of Berry, KY. She has 1 sister: Carolyn Gillispie of Georgetown, KY. Mrs. Stubbs has 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. Funeral services for Mrs. Stubbs will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thurs., May 12 at the Stonewall First Church of God with Rev. Jesse Rogers and Rev. Tom Denny officiating. Visitation will be on Wed. from 5-8 pm in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth and on Thurs. from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour at the church. Burial will be in the Raven Creek Cemetery, Harrison County.
