Nelson Craig Glacken, of Mt. Zion, passed away Monday, February 21 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY. at the age of 42. Mr. Glacken was born in Covington, KY. on October 27, 1968 to Garlene Bingham Glacken and the late Nelson Frederick Glacken. Mr. Glacken was a self employed mechanic and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He also was a member of the Northern Kentucky Association of Truck Tuggers and the Kentucky Truck Tuggers. Mr. Glacken is survived by his wife: Chery James Glacken and by 2 sons: William Craig Glacken and Robert Frederick Glacken, both of Dry Ridge, KY. He is also survived by his mother: Garlene Bingham Glacken Haley of Dry Ridge, KY., 1 sister: Cara Glacken (Brad) Martin of Dry Ridge, KY., 1 brother: Christopher Wade (Tonya) Glacken of Milan, IN., 1 stepdaughter: Glenda (John) Ray, 1 stepson: Thomas Keeton, maternal grandparents: Donald and Fredericka Bingham of Dry Ridge, KY., paternal grandmother and step grandfather: Alice Glacken Mullins and Robert Mullins of Owenton, KY. Funeral services for Mr. Glacken will be conducted at 3:00 pm Saturday, February 26 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Jervis, Rev. Don Kannady and Rev. Paul Marksberry officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of services. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home of Dry Ridge, KY.
