Gladys Louise Stubbs

Gladys Louise Stubbs, of Georgetown, KY. passed away Saturday, December 11 at the Georgetown Community Hospital at the age of 92. Mrs. Stubbs was born in Harrison County, KY. on June 19, 1918 to the late John Sipples and Elizabeth Courtney Sipples. Mrs. Stubbs was a foster parent and member of the Stonewall Baptist Church in Sadieville. She was preceded in death by her husband: Floyd D. Stubbs who passed away Nov. 5, 2002 and by a son: Floyd William Stubbs who passed away January 24, 1984. Mrs. Stubbs is survived by a foster daughter: Elizabeth Teegarden of Georgetown, KY. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren: Kim Parr of Corinth, KY., Madeleine Walker of Georgetown, KY., Greg Stubbs of Harrison County, KY. and Melissa Floyd of London, KY. She has 1 brother: John Mulberry of Sadieville, KY. and 3 sisters: Elizabeth Gudgell of Maysville, KY., Virginia Mullins of Dayton, OH. and Lissie Daniels of Bowling Green, KY. She has 9 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Stubbs will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 16 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Bro. Randy Gregory officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5-9 pm. Burial will be in the Raven Creek Cemetery, Harrison County.
