Ruth Ann Hamilton

Ruth Ann Hamilton, of Williamstown, KY. passed away Saturday, November 20 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood at the age of 70. Mrs. Hamilton was born April 15, 1940 in Whitley County, KY. to the late Frank Cox and Martha Davis Cox. She was a retired maintenance supervisor for the Dry Ridge Outlet Mall. She had also formerly worked as a cook and waitress for the Boone Inn in Walton, KY. and the B & E Restaurant in Crittenden. She was a member of the Williamstown Church of God. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hamilton was preceded in death by her first husband: Robert Deck on July 7, 1975 and by her second husband: Thomas J. Hamilton on October 9, 2006. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by 2 daughters: Martha Bass of Williamstown, KY. & Amiee Duran of Conyers, GA. She has 5 sons: Robert F. Deck of Independence, KY., Timothy L. Deck of Bellevue, KY., Joseph K. Deck of Morning View, KY., Keith A. Deck of Dry Ridge, KY. & Eric M. Iles of Dry Ridge, KY. She has 1 sister: Greta Rymer of Mt. Orab, OH. and 3 brothers: Ronald Wilson & Archie Wilson both of Williamsburg, OH. and Rick Wilson of Corbin, KY. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Funeral services for Mrs. Hamilton will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, Nov. 26 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Howard Chipman officiating. Visitation will be there on Friday from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
