Anna Kathryn Dixon, of Corinth, KY. passed away Sunday, October 24 at the Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown, KY. at the age of 69. Mrs. Dixon was born May 15, 1941 in Georgetown, KY. She was a retired machinist for the former Mallard Pen and Pencil Co. in Georgetown and a member of the Corinth Christian Church. Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband: Andrew Dixon in March, 1995. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by a grandson: Thomas Allen New in April, 2005. Mrs. Dixon leaves to mourn her passing 2 daughters: Kathy Faye (Danny) Jones of Corinth, KY. and Alice (Jeff) New of Corinth, KY. She has 3 grandchildren: Daniel Jones, Vicki New and Gabrielle New, all of Corinth, KY. Funeral services for Mrs. Dixon will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. Quintin McNabb and Rev. Kent Allender officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-9 pm. Burial will be in the Raven Creek Cemetery, Harrison County.
