Daniel Leon Madden

Daniel Leon Madden, of Dry Ridge, passed away Tuesday, October 12 at St. Elizabeth Edgewood at the age of 75. Mr. Madden was born April 11, 1935 in Jackson County, KY. to the late Ernest Madden and Phena Cook Madden. Mr. Madden was a farmer and truck driver and he was a member of the Dry Ridge Christian Church where he served as a deacon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Eugene Madden in 2009. Mr. Madden is survived by his wife: Nola Rader Madden. He has 1 son: Charles Douglas Madden of Dry Ridge, KY. and 2 daughters: Debra Ann Stoots of Corinth, KY. & Patricia Rae Plunkett of Dry Ridge, KY. He has 2 sisters: Sylvia Cavins & Loretta Beach both of Dry Ridge, KY. and 2 brothers: Donnie Madden of Laurel, IN. & David Madden of Connersville, IN. Mr. Madden has 5 grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Madden will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Wayne Barnett officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday evening from 5-9 pm. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
