Gary L. Lovelace

August 23, 1938 - September 14, 2010

Gary L. Lovelace, of Falmouth, KY. passed away on Tuesday, September 14 at his residence at the age of 72. Mr. Lovelace was born August 23, 1938 in West Carrollton, Ohio to the late James and Ethel Lovelace. He was a retired maintenance supervisor for Grant County Foods in Dry Ridge and he served his country in the US Army. At the time of his passing he was a member of the Gum Lick Baptist Church and was a former member of the Sherman Baptist Church as well as the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Michael Travis Lovelace in 2001. Mr. Lovelace is survived by his wife of 51 years: Bess Adams Lovelace. He has 2 sons: Greg K. Lovelace and Tom Lovelace, both of Falmouth, KY. He has 3 sisters: Janet Marksberry and Patty Sullivan, both of Williamstown, KY. and Elsie Dhrer of Michigan. He has 4 grandchildren: Lyndsie McCowan of Williamstown, Robbie Lovelace of Dry Ridge, Hunter Lovelace of Independence, KY. and Daniel Henry of Falmouth. Mr. Lovelace is also survived by 4 great grandchildren: Eli, Logan, and Holden McCowan and Lily Henry. Funeral services for Mr. Lovelace will be conducted at 3:00 pm Thursday, Sept. 16 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Steve Alford officiating. Visitation will be there on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of services. Burial will be in the Gum Lick Cemetery, Pendleton County.
