Bobby Sloma, of Owenton, KY. passed away on Saturday, August 28 near Walton, KY. at the age of 40. Mr. Sloma was born in Ft. Thomas, KY. on January 28, 1970 to Betty Johnson Sparrow and Robert Lee Sloma. Mr. Sloma was a real estate broker with Sloma Realty in Owenton. He began his real estate career in April, 2001, as a sales associate. He's a lifetime resident of Owen County, Kentucky, leaving only to serve in the U. S. Army after graduating from high school. In April, 2005, he received his broker's license after four years with Tisch Real Estate in Owenton. Mr. Sloma was preceded in death by his father: W. T. Taylor. Mr. Sloma is survived by a daughter: Brittany Nicole Sloma of Owenton, KY. and his mother: Betty Sparrow of Owenton, KY. He has 1 sister: Tammy Stewart of Dry Ridge, KY. and 2 brothers: Tony Sloma and Steven Sloma, both of Owenton, KY. Funeral services for Mr. Sloma will be conducted at 11:00 am Thursday, September 2 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth. Visitation will be there on Wednesday from 4-9 pm. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
