Betty Fay Stamper

Betty Fay Stamper, of Walton, KY. passed away Monday, May 24 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood at the age of 78. Mrs. Stamper was born October 18, 1931 in Elliston, KY. to the late William Dowell and Edna Webster Dowell. She was a retired seamstress for Magliano's Pant Co. in Cincinnati, OH. and was a devoted mother, homemaker and worked with her late husband on a farm and with various rental properties. Mrs. Stamper was a charter member of the Elliston Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence R. Stamper on April 17, 2008. Mrs. Stamper is survived by 2 daughters: Bonnie Jean Conover and Joann Anglin, both of Walton, KY. She has 1 brother: Alfred Dowell of Elsmere, KY. She has 3 grandchildren: Matt Bowlin, Amy Anglin and Lisa Strunk and 4 great grandchildren: Nathan, Emma, and Jonathan Strunk and Vincent Albin. Funeral services for Mrs. Stamper will be conducted on Friday, May 28 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Strunk and Bro. Steve Axtell officiating. Visitation will be there on Friday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
