Roy Russell Alexander

Roy Russell Alexander, of Hamilton, OH. and formerly of Mt. Zion, KY. passed away Saturday, March 27 at the Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH. at the age of 93. Mr. Alexander was born August 29, 1916 in Walton, KY. to the late Russell Roy Alexander and Mary Agnes Gilpin Alexander. He was a retired farmer and former Grant County Road Department employee. Mr. Alexander served his country during World War II in the US Army. Mr. Alexander was an avid reader and always grew a big garden. He was preceded in death this past week by his wife, Hazel N. Alexander who died on Monday, March 22. He is survived by a daughter: Beverly Seiter and her husband Bill of Hamilton, OH. He has 1 granddaughter: Shanna Seiter of Cincinnati, OH. He also leaves to mourn his passing a sister: Jo Ann Mayes of Florence, KY. and 2 brothers: John C. Alexander of Florence, KY. and Danny B. Alexander of Mt. Zion, KY. Funeral services for Mr. Alexander will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Tom Sparks officiating. Visitation will be there on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
