Thomas Paul Fain, II, of Sadieville, passed away on Tuesday, March 16 at the Georgetown Community Hospital at the age of 60. Mr. Fain was born May 16, 1949 in Lexington, KY. to the late Thomas Paul Fain and Henrietta Davis Fain. He was a disabled Vietnam Army veteran and received the Purple Heart medal for injuries he received. He formerly worked for Avon and the Scott County PVA. He was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church, the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his wife: Rita Ann Martin Fain. He has 1 daughter: Rachel Ann Collins of Midway, KY. He has 1 son: Timothy Paul Fain and his wife Stacey of Georgetown, KY. He has 1 stepson: Aaron Wayne Mullins and his wife Janet of Whitesburg, KY. He is also survived by 3 brothers: Larry Fain and his wife Julie of Warsaw, KY., Kenneth Fain of Harrison County, KY. Michael Fain and his wife Colleen of Harrison County, KY. He has 2 grandchildren: Chloe Ann Root and Cali Beth Collins, both of Midway, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Vivian Lynn Fain in 2006. Funeral services for Mr. Fain will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, March 19 in the chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth with Rev. David Swallom officiating. Visitation will be there on Friday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour. Burial with military honors will be in the Raven Creek Cemetery, Harrison County.
