Dorothy E. Ferrell

Dorothy E. Ferrell, 96, of Mt. Zion, passed away on Monday, March 15 in the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Williamstown, KY. She was born October 31, 1913 in Kenton County, KY. to the late John Thomas Works and Julia Caldwell Works. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She was a charter member of the Grant County Homemakers and she enjoyed quilting and tending to her flowers. She was the widow of Kenneth Tomlin "Skin" Ferrell who died May 16, 1997. She is survived by a daughter: Brenda Points and her husband Bill of Dry Ridge, KY. and by a granddaughter: Holly Mann of Dry Ridge, KY. Mrs. Ferrell has 1 great granddaughter: Harper McKenzie Mann, also of Dry Ridge, KY. Funeral services for Mrs. Ferrell will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, Mar. 18 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Marksberry officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
