Jasper "Jackie" Colson, 76, of Corinth, passed away on Friday, January 22 after a brief stay in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. He was born March 6, 1933 in Keefer, KY. to the late Jasper Colson and Dora Blackburn Colson. He was a retired traffic manager and former truck driver for the H. B. Fuller Chemical Co. in Blue Ash, OH. He was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ, the Crittenden-Dry Ridge Masonic Lodge #694 and the Cattleman's Association. He is survived by his wife: Jerri Wells Colson. He has two sons: Rick Colson and wife Maureen of Syracuse, NY. and Kenny Colson and wife Tracie of Crittenden, KY. He has three granddaughters: Jessica, Jennifer and Christie Colson. He is also survived by 5 sisters: Alverta Gifford and husband Max of Williamstown, KY., Betty Ellis and husband Billy of Corinth, Frances Simpson and husband Frank of Williamstown, Martha Bachman of Williamstown and Rita Colson of Corinth. He has 2 brothers: T. J. "Bub" Colson of Clyde, OH. and Harold Gene "Peck" Colson of Corinth. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Dola Green and Juanita Bruce and by 2 brothers: Winford Colson and Amos Colson. Services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at the Antioch Church of Christ in Keefer. Visitation will be from 5-9 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 26 in the Chapel of the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth and also on Wednesday at the church from 12:00 noon until time of service. Burial will be in the Antioch Church of Christ Cemetery.
