Glenda Sue Ellis, 57, of Corinth, died Friday, April 17, 2009 at 9:35 am while a patient in the St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood, KY. She was born August 31, 1951 in Kenton County, KY. to the late Cecil Barnes and Dorothy Brewer Barnes. She was a self employed tax preparer and a member of the Corinth Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and by 2 sisters: Kathleen Moak in 2004 and Carol Ann McCreary in 2008. She was also preceded by a brother: Lenuel Barnes in 2006. She is survived by her husband: Mickey Ellis. Also survived by a daughter: Sonia Thornton of Crittenden, KY. 1 Son: Chris Ellis of Dry Ridge, KY. 2 sisters: Wilma Updike of Dry Ridge, KY. and Mary Lonkard of Williamstown, KY. 2 Brothers: Donald Barnes of Corinth, KY. and Brent Allen Barnes of Williamstown, KY. She has 9 grandchildren.
