Augusta G. Liggett

Augusta Glenn Liggett, 96, of Madiera, OH. died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008 at the Deaconess Hospital in Cincinnati. She was born on Sept. 5, 1912 in Scott County, KY. to the late O. B. Fite and Effie Nelson Fite. She was a retired matron and custodian for the Indian Hill High School. She was a member of the Madiera Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband: Charles H. Liggett in 1981. Also preceded in death by a sister: Evelyn Hornsby and by 2 brothers: Rev. Silas Fite and Paul Fite. She is survived by a daughter: Helen Hollender of Madiera, OH. 2 Sons: Dale N. Liggett of Ripley, Maine and Terry L. Liggett of Bumpass, VA. 2 Sisters: Dorothy Smith of Lexington, KY., and Helen Harrisson of Racine, WI. 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great, Great Grandchildren.
