Ollie Barkley Owen

Ollie Barkley Owen, 82, of Dry Ridge, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2008 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center South in Edgewood, KY. He was born on Nov. 4, 1926 in Casey County, KY. to the late John Wesley Owen and Lillie Mae Baxter Owen. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. He retired from Crown Cork and Seal Co.in Cincinnati, Oh. and worked for the former Continental Can Co., also in Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his wife: Zula Fay Bullock Owen in 1989. He is survived by daughters: Carolyn Brown of Northfield Center Township, OH. and Anna Tuchfarber of Cincinnati, OH. Sons: John Douglas Owen of Screver, GA. and William B. Owen of Williamstown, KY. 11 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.
