Ada Mae Souder Skirvin

Ada Mae Souder Skirvin of Williamstown, KY was born July 12, 1934 in Lexington, KY and passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 in Warsaw, KY at the age of 88.

She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ada Mae Taylor Souder. She was a Homemaker and former employee with Dry Ridge Walmart, and she was a member of the Oak Ridge Baptist Church and attended the Pleasant View Baptist Church. On February 15, 1956 she was united in marriage to her husband, Ernest Bradford Skirvin, who preceded her in death in 1983. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Ann Skirvin and sister, Callie Barnett.

Surviving is a daughter, Linda Karen (Michael) Harvey of Dry Ridge; a son, Ernest Michael (Sherri) Skirvin of Rineyville, KY; a grand-daughter, Stephanie (Eric) Lewis and great-granddaughter, Julia Lewis all of Elizabethtown, KY; two brothers, John Eddie (Lucy) Souder of Dry Ridge and Gilbert Paul Souder of Florence; and one sister, Christine Scroggins of Williamstown.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown, KY followed by burial in the Jonesville IOOF Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Thursday, January 5, 2023 at the funeral home.
