Sadie Ailene Privett, 79, entered into her heavenly home on Tuesday June 22, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. Born June 4, 1942 in Batesburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late John Monroe Fulmer and Sallie Lucille Goff Fulmer.
Ailene married Buster Privett; he preceded her in death. Over the years, she was a restaurant manager at various restaurants in the Grant County area. She was a faithful member of Sherman Full Gospel Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
She is survived by one son: Mickey (Ginny) Kenneth Grey of Crittenden, KY; two daughters: Jan (Robbie) Isaacs of Demossville, KY. Peggy Holland of Englewood, FL and one sister: Frances Gable of Wagner, S.C. Six grandchildren also survive: Matthew Isaacs, Jessica Pollitt, Felicia Britton, Denise Franz, Jonathan Holland, Holly Remelius, along with 17 great-grandchildren; all of whom lovingly called her “Mammy”, “Mamaw” and “Mamoo”. She is also survived by the father of her children (Mickey & Jan), Ansel Grey. She was preceded in death by seven brothers: Percy Fulmer, Burton Fulmer, J. M. Fulmer, Wyman Fulmer, G. W. Fulmer, Junior Fulmer, Sammy Fulmer and three other husbands: Bobby Collier and Shirley Brineger.
Visitation will be Saturday June 26, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. till 12 noon at Sherman Full Gospel Church in Dry Ridge. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon with Rev. Gayliss Gaines officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Aileen’s memory to Sherman Full Gospel, 3185 Dixie Hwy, Dry Ridge, KY 41035.
