Alda Sparrow

Alda Vincent Sparrow was born July 22, 1941 in Edmonson Co., Kentucky and passed away December 28, 2021 in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 80.  She was the daughter of the late Winchel and Anna Eliza Wilson Vincent.

Alda was a retired bookkeeper for Nobles Restaurant in Corinth and a member of the Williamstown Christian Church.  She loved doing all types of crafts, especially quilting and sewing.  She also enjoyed collecting antiques and she was an avid reader.

Alda was preceded in death by her husband, Delvin Edward Sparrow, only 6 days prior.  She is survived by 2 daughters: Pamela Jenkins (Gary) of Union and Allison Holtzclaw (Chris) of Stanford; a brother: David Vincent of Florence; and 2 grandchildren: Grace Sparrow of Union and Jacob Holtzclaw of Stanford.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2021 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.  There will be a private burial for Alda at the same time as her husband at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North.
