Alfreda Kay Moore

Alfreda Kay Moore, 49, of Florence, KY, passed away Saturday April 17, 2021 at Florence Park Care Center after a long illness.  Born Wednesday July 14, 1971 in Martin, KY, she was the daughter of the late Alger Bart and Emma Gayheart Sizemore.

Alfreda was married to Louie Moore; he survives. She was a graduate of  McDowell High School in Floyd County KY. She was an amazing woman who endured much in the past three years following her injury.

Survivors include one daughter, Ashley (Jimmy Clements) Moore of Elsmere, KY; five brothers: James Sizemore, Jerry Sizemore, Barry Sizemore, Darren Sizemore, all of McDowell, KY and Chris Sizemore of Ohio.  Two grandchildren also survive: Taylor Butcher and Carter Butcher, whom lovingly referred to her as their “Eastern Kentucky Mamaw”.  She was preceded in death by a sister: Benika Ann Paige; two brothers: Micky Sizemore and Danny Sizemore, and a grandson: Elizah Calloway Moore.

A memorial service will be held in McDowell, KY at a later date at the convenience of the family.
