Alice Joan Jacobsen

Ms. Alice J. Jacobsen, a Dry Ridge resident and formerly of North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the age of 57.  She was the fiancé of Thomas Scirrotto.

Alice was a former Benefits Director for Merrill Lynch and Bank of America.  She loved shopping, going to the beach, travelling, reading, listening to 70's and 80's music, watching many different movies and television shows and her favorite sports teams were the Mets and Giants.  She dearly loved to cook and specialized in Norwegian pancakes and gourmet scrambled eggs.  Her family describes her as being unconditionally caring and generous to everyone and was always kind to stranger.

Alice was born on May 4, 1965 in Brooklyn, NY to the late John and Jean Jacobsen.  In addition to her fiance Thomas Scirrotto, she is survived by her brother, Pete B. Jacobsen of Melbourne, FL and her favorite pet dog J.J.  Alice was preceded in death by a brother, Paul E. Jacobsen.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Monday, November 14, 2022 at 1pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY.  A memorial visitation will be 11am-1pm.  Rev. Milkweed Wotier will be officiating services.
