Allen Wayne Willoughby

Allen Wayne Willoughby , 68, of Cincinnati, OH, (formerly of Grant County, KY) passed away on Tuesday October 22, 2024 at Ivy Woods Nursing and Rehab Center in Cincinnati.  Born on September 14, 1956, in Williamstown, KY, he was the son of the late Shirley and Margaret Merrill Willoughby.

Upon graduating from high school, he entered the U.S. Army and proudly served his country for six years. For many years he was the Sales Manager of Cincinnati Enquirer.  He was a writing enthusiast; he enjoyed artwork, fresh-cut flowers but especially had a great interest in photography. When able to attend, he attended the Community Family Church in Independence.

Survivors include one daughter: Rachel Jones of Plainfield, IN; one sister: Darlene Rich of Union, KY and three grandchildren: Lily Jones, Violet Jones, Jaedyn Mosbey and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a daughter: Sarah Willoughby; a brother: Vernon Willoughby; two sisters: Shirley Scroggins and Beverly Green.

Visitation will be Thursday October 31, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m Elliston Stanley, Williamstown, KY.    Funeral services will follow with Bro. Jackie Wooten officiating.  Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery – North (KVC-N); Full Military Honors will be observed; arrival time is 1:00 p.m.
