Alonzo Phillip Lawrence

Mr. Alonzo Phillip Lawrence, a Williamstown resident, passed away at the Woodcrest nursing home in Elsmere, KY on Friday, August 18, 2023 at the age of 91.

Alonzo was born on April 1, 1932 to the late Willie Lawrence and Christol Acree Lawrence.  He was a retired machinist for American Toolworks. He loved working on cars, restoring studebaker trucks, fishing and hunting.

Alonzo is survived by two daughters, Barbara Loftin of Florence, KY, Diana Gooden of Houston, TX, two brothers, Willie Dale Lawrence of Williamstown, KY, Harry Lawrence of Walton, KY, two sisters, Donna Gudel of Tucson, AZ, Joyce Elliott of Erlanger, KY, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Alvin Lee Lawrence, and two sisters, Maxine McSword and Lillie Mae Lawrence.

A celebration of life memorial service will be conducted at the convenience of the family.  Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home of Williamstown is handling arrangements.
