Amanda Marie Williams Tubbs , 29 of Williamstown, KY, died Monday July 6, 2020 in Lexington, KY. Born November 1, 1990 in Edgewood, KY, she was the daughter of Sheila Wainscott Collier and the late Shawn Joseph Williams.

She was an employee of Day’s Inn in Lexington. She played high school basketball and in November of 2019 she made a profession of faith and became a believer.

Survivors include her mother and step-father: Sheila and Jeff Collier; her husband: A J Tubbs; one son: Shawn Joseph Clem of Williamstown; three step-brothers: Jason Collier and Shane Collier, both of Virginia, Matthew Collier of Williamstown; two step-sisters: Christi Collier of Frankfort and Jessica Collier of DeMossville; maternal grandparents: Gene and Judy Wainscott of Williamstown; paternal grandfather: Joe Williams of Williamstown; two aunts: Tina (Mike) Swopes of Florida, Cheryl Butler of Michigan; four uncles: Jeremy (Jennifer) Wainscott of Crestview Hills, Jarred Wainscot of Walton, “John Boy” Williams of Corinth and Steve (Dawn) Williams of Florence, along with numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her father: Shawn Joseph Williams, her paternal grandmother: Judy Lowe and an aunt: Colleen Williams

Visitation will be Tuesday July 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Williamstown location of Stanley Funeral Homes.  Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon with Rev. Donald Kannady officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Owen County.
