Andrew Gobel "A.G." Dailey

Andrew Gobel “A.G” Dailey, 82, of Corinth, KY, died Wednesday September 14, 2022 at his residence.  Born Thursday October 26, 1939 in Olive Hill, KY, he was the son of the late Andrew Jackson and Mary Margaret Pickett Dailey.

On October 27, 1962 at Stewartsville Baptist Church he was united in marriage to the former Shirley Ruth Brock; she survives. He was a lifelong farmer; he also worked for Henry Northcutt at Northcutt Farm & Seed Company; his greatest pastime was mowing and manicuring his yard. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 60 years, Shirley Ruth Brock Dailey; three daughters: Darlena Ruth Dailey Martin of Falmouth, Sherry Lynn Dailey of Corinth, Margina (Damion) Jo Dailey Bauer of Williamstown; two sons: Timothy (Lisa) G. Dailey of Falmouth, Adam (Rhonda) W. Dailey of Georgetown; four sisters: Virginia (Ricky) Hunter Ashcraft of Stamping Ground, Donna Jean Jones of Stamping Ground, Viola Beshear of Stamping Ground and Rosie (Randy) Barron of Stamping Ground and two brothers: Bob Dailey of Beechwood and Donald Ray "Ducky" (Sharon) Dailey of Georgetown, along with eleven grandchildren: Andrew Martin, Timothy Dailey, Jr., Adam (Brittany) Dailey, Jr., Casey (Serenity) Dailey, Jacob Scroggins, Glenn Austin “A.J.” Scroggins II, Kristina Marie Dailey Ingram, John Green, Marlena (Chris) Hicks, Michelle (Justin) Pridemore, Jessica (Stephen) Kay Dailey Comstock and 14 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Dailey and two sisters: Robin Walker and Connie Conley.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m.at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 with Rev. Floyd Race officiating.  Burial will follow in the Corinth I.O.O.F. (International Order of Oddfellows) Cemetery.
