Andrew Joseph Kopple

Andrew Joseph Kopple of Glencoe, Kentucky, passed away at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 at the age of 36, he was a registered organ donor. He was born Sunday, February 1st, 1987 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Kentucky, to Tina Houston and the late Jon Kopple Sr.

AJ graduated from Ryle High School, class of 2006. He was a proud member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Dry Ridge, Kentucky. Though he worked as a crew member at McDonalds, he much preferred volunteering his time serving food and offering support to the hungry, homeless population of Kentucky. Over the past few years, this work of giving back to the community and helping his fellow man had become his passion. He loved doing this work and made so many friends in the process- “he had the most loving heart you would ever meet.”

AJ is survived by his incredibly loving parents, Dan and Tina Houston of Glencoe, Kentucky; his brothers: Jon Kopple Jr. of Florence, Kentucky and Dan Houston II of Covington, Kentucky; his sisters: Tara Kopple of Sparta, Kentucky, Jessica (Scott) Meyer of Florence, Kentucky, and Stacy Houston of Florence, Kentucky; as well as his adoring niece, Destiny Kopple of Sparta, Kentucky. He leaves a legacy of his two beloved children, Aiden and Olivia Kopple of Florence, Kentucky.

A candlelight vigil for AJ will be held at 6:00PM on Monday, May 29th, 2023, at the Clay Wade Bailey Bridge on 3rd Street in Covington, Kentucky.
