Angela Mariea Hammond

Angela Mariea Hammond , 47, a resident of Mt. Sterling, KY, formerly of the Rockdale Community of Owen County, died Wednesday January 8, 2020 at her residence. Born on October 12, 1972, she is the daughter of Jackie Todd Glass and Anna Hahn.

As a young lady, she worked at Lemaster's Grocery in Corinth. She was a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant). She was a lifelong member of Caney Fork Baptist Church in the Rockdale Community of Owen County where she made her profession of faith many years ago.

Survivors include her two sons: James Michael Hammond of Georgetown, KY, William Joseph "BJ" Hammond of Owenton, KY, her parents: Jackie Todd Glass of Owenton, KY and Anna (William) Hahn of Ohio; four brothers: Jeremy Glass, Billy Glass, Travis Glass, Matthew Glass; two sisters: Jennifer Glass and Heather Glass and two grandchildren: Brayden and Colton. Also surviving are Angela’s aunts and uncles: Debbie (Glenn) Getz, Yvonne (Donald) Hall, Charles (Ida) Killion, Peggy Carroll, Judy (Vic) Glass Wagenschein, Robert (Kaye) Jeffery Glass,  along with the father of her children, James Richard Hammond. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Betty Killion, June and Virginia Glass, a great-aunt: Lillian “Nanie” Glass; an aunt Janice Glass Jones and a cousin: Sarah Layne Glass Hammond.

Visitation will be Tuesday January 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at McDaniel Funeral Home in Corinth. Funeral services will begin at 1:00. Burial will follow in the Caney Fork Cemetery, located at 2450 Rockdale Rd.  Owenton, KY  40359
