Anita L. Smith Castleman

Anita L. Smith Castleman of Hernando, FL and formerly of Dry Ridge was born September 11, 1940 in Dry Ridge, KY and died Wednesday September 7, 2022 in La Canto, FL at the age of 81.

She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Ray and Bessie Mae Page Castleman, and was a retired registered nurse. On March 10, 1983 she was united in marriage to her husband, David Michael Smith. In addition to her parents, Anita is preceded in death by 2 sons, Kenneth Dallas and Dennis Dallas, 1 daughter Lisa Dallas, and 2 brothers Russell Edward Castleman and Kenneth Grayson Castleman.

Surviving is her husband, David Michael Smith of Hernando, FL; 2 sons, Samuel Dallas Jr. of St. Petersburg, Fl and Steve Dallas of Florence, KY; 1 daughter, Melanie Dallas of St. Petersburg, FL; 10 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge. Visitation will also be Wednesday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
