Anna Lee Bowen

Anna Lee Mann Bowen was born January 8, 1935 in Flingsville, KY and passed away Oct. 20, 2019 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 84.  She was the daughter of the late Ira and Sylvia Reed Mann.

On Oct. 16, 1954 Anna was united in marriage to Charles Raymond Bowen who preceded her in death in 2008.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother: George Mann; and 3 sisters: Mary Lou Mann, Betty Seibert and Dorothy Deaton.

Anna was a Homemaker and member of Unity Baptist Church in Demossville.  She had many hobbies including dress making for her family early in life and working puzzles and pixel art later in life.  She always loved playing practical jokes on her family.

Anna is survived by a son: Ricky Bowen of Maysville; 2 daughters: Jo Ann O'Hara of Elsmere and Barbara Bentley (Gary) of Georgetown; a brother: John Mann of Crittenden; a sister: Wanda Chipman of Verona; 2 granddaughters: Ryan Link and Bradie Nelson (David); 3 great granddaughters: Kylie Patrick, Taylor True and Peyton Patrick; 2 great grandsons: Trace Patrick and Brenden Patrick; a great great grandson: Kash Kelley;  step grandchildren: Brandon Bentley (Dora) and Lauren Bentley; a step great grandson: Ian Bentley; and a great great grandchild on the way.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Williamstown.  Visitation will be 4:00 - 9:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Gardnersville Cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Elizabeth Hospice in care of the funeral home.
