Anna L. Howell

Anna Lee Parks Howell was born April 15, 1918 in Flax Patch, Kentucky and passed away May 31, 2019 in Dry Ridge, Kentucky at the age of 101.  She was the daughter of the late John Lee and Vergie Smith Parks.

On May 28, 1937 Anna was united in marriage to Rev. J.E. Howell who preceded her in death.  In addition a son, Ralph W. "Jack" Howell, as well as 4 siblings preceded her in death.

Mrs. Howell is survived by 3 Grandchildren: Jim Howell (Rae Jean) of Dry Ridge, Sonja Kinman (Clark) of Williamstown and Brigitte Kelly of Florence; a daughter-in-law: Peggy Howell of Williamstown; a sister: Adele Combs of Charlestown, IN; 5 great grandchildren: Amanda Howell Winters, Maggie Abshire, Jacob Kinman, Pegan Dobson and Jordan Toadvine; and 2 great great grandchildren: Bianca Grace Winters and Ezra Dean Abshire.

Mrs. Howell was humbled to be a pastor's wife as well as a homemaker.  She was a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Demossville, KY and she always enjoyed spending time reading and sewing.  Most of all she loved the Lord and her family.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, June 10, 2019 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Petersburg Cemetery in Petersburg, KY.
