Arthur “Banny” Wright, a Williamstown resident, passed away early Saturday morning, October 29, 2022
at the age of 93. He was born on October 13, 1929, in New Columbus, Kentucky, the son of the late
Melissa and Burgess Wright.
Banny married the late Marcella Rogers Wright and they settled in Corinth, Kentucky. He served in the
US Army in 1954-1955 during the Korean War. Banny loved to farm and tended to cattle for many
years. In addition, he drove a truck for 28 years with Tucker Freight Lines out of Cincinnati. Banny has
one son, Kevin (Jennifer) Wright, from Walton, KY. He is also survived by a grandson, Zachary (Sara)
Wright, from Nashville, TN and a granddaughter Macy Wright, from Boise, ID.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by brothers Tom Wright, Doug Wright, Elmer Wright and
sister Betty Stone. He is survived by a brother Glenn Wright, of Williamstown, KY and a sister, Alma
Yeary of Lexington, KY.
Graveside services for Arthur will be conducted Saturday, November 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest
Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY with Rev. Quinten McNabb officiating.
