Audrey L. Ward

Audrey L. Ward of Burlington, KY was born November 20, 1940 in Pendleton County, KY and died Monday, March 24, 2025 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 84 years.

She was the daughter of the late Frank Emery and Geneva Lee Adams Kells. She was retired as an optician, where she had worked at several Northern Kentucky and Ohio optometrist offices. She was past president of the Ohio Optician Association and a former commissioner on the Boone County Planning and Zoning Board. In July of 1965 she was united in marriage to her husband, Dallas Eugene Ward who preceded her in death in 2012. Also preceding her in death is a brother, Kenneth Kells in 2021.

Surviving is a son, Shawn (Missy) Ward of Union, KY; daughter, Tonya (Perry) Brock of Ghent, KY; three grandchildren, Cody Thierauf, Haleigh (Ravi) Hans, and Taryn (Thomas) Berry; and three great-grandchildren, T.J. Berry, Mia Hans, and Elliot Paige Berry.

Memorial services will be private at a later date.
