Barbara Harmon Brophy

Mrs. Barbara Harmon Brophy, a Crittenden resident, passed away at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the age of 71.  She was the wife of Donald W. Brophy.

Barbara was a retired nurse for the St. Elizabeth Hospitals.  She formerly worked for the Owen Co. Memorial Hospital. She was an artistic woman whom loved to paint, make crafts, sew, cross stitch, flowers and studied the bible.  She was known to be able to quote scripture and loved to help strangers.  Above all else, she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband Don, she is survived by one daughter, Lisa Arnold (Ernie) Carter of Williamstown, KY, one sister, Brenda Pettit of Folsom, KY, five grandchildren, Haley, Jayde, Christian, Andrea, Shandra, three great grandchildren, Jenna, Meekah and Aubree.  Barbara was preceded in death by one son, Keith Allen Arnold, parents John R. Evans and Ruth Burnette Evans.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
