Barbara Sue Darling

Barbara Sue Darling of Crittenden, passed away at her residence on Thursday, November 3rd, 2022, at the age of 62. She was born at St. Elizabeth Hospital of Covington on Tuesday, January 5th, 1960 to Barbara McQueen and the late Johnie McQueen. Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Cash Eversole.

Barbara is survived by her mother, Barbara McQueen and two sons, Ford Eversole Jr. and Tim Eversole of Crittenden, KY; as well as one lifelong addition, Jamie Brickler of Falmouth, KY. Also surviving are her six siblings: Bonnie Eversole of Williamstown, KY, Brenda Costello and husband David of Whick, KY, Belinda Ward and husband George of Dry Ridge, KY, Kathy Burton and husband Randall of Dry Ridge, KY, Johnie McQueen and wife Dawn of Dry Ridge, KY, and Levi McQueen & Eva Bush of Whick, KY. She leaves a legacy of five incredibly loved grandchildren: Paige Eversole of Piner, KY, Sadie Eversole of Piner, KY, Destiny Tapp of Piner, KY, Joshua James Collins of Detroit, MI, and Ronnie Edward of New Richmond, OH; along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her birthday call each & every year.

Barbara devoted her life to her family and to her home. She loved playing cards, and much of the family recalls fond memories of singing and dancing along with her while cleaning the house- rock & roll and Rod Stewart were always her favorites. She will be remembered as a comedian by those closest to her, always laughing and always making everyone else laugh, constantly having something funny to say to lighten the mood. Always happy, "no matter what mood she was in, a smile was always plastered on her face." Barbara has always been the glue to all of those around her, bringing everyone together to a sense of home and harmony. She will be dearly missed.

Services for Barbara will be conducted at a later date at the convenience of the family.
