Barbara Caldwell Smith

Barbara Caldwell Smith of Dry Ridge was born Saturday, November 16, 1946 in the Flingsville Community of Crittenden, KY and died Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her residence at the age of 76 years.

She was the daughter of the late Elbert Marion and Edith Roberta Flynn Caldwell. She was a retired Receiving Clerk for Eaton Asphalt Company and a member of the Crittenden Baptist Church. On July 3, 1964 she was united in marriage to her husband, Ronnie Kent Smith who preceded her in death on May 27, 2021, in addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Carl Edward Caldwell, and 2 sisters, Helen Marilyn Adams and Frances Carlene Livingood.

Surviving is 1 daughter, Carla Smith of Dry Ridge; 1 son, Keith (Andrea) Smith of Crittenden; 4 grandchildren, Lane Smith, Kelly Smith, Alayna (George) Feller, and Jared Barnes; 8 brothers, Jim (Carol) Caldwell of Crittenden, Tommy (Addie) Caldwell of Dry Ridge, Don (Barb) Caldwell of Crestview Hills, Terry Caldwell of Crittenden, Jerry (Lettie) Caldwell of Dry Ridge, Tony Caldwell of Crittenden, Greg (Cris) Caldwell of Crittenden, and Jeff Caldwell of Ratcliff; and 4 sisters, Alberta Caldwell of Dry Ridge, Janet Rogers of Crittenden, Sue Epperson of Dry Ridge, and Laura (Brian) Rodgers of Crittenden.

Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Crittenden Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the church, followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery.
