Barbara Jean Westover

Barbara Jean Hutton Westover of Williamstown, KY was born on June 8, 1934 in Dry Ridge, KY to the late Stanley Marcus Hutton and Stella Mae Updike (Claude) Grubbs and passed away on January 9, 2023 at her residence at the age of 88 years.  She was the widow of Jerry Westover.

Barbara worked as a baker at Krispy Kreme Donuts for more than 30 years and was a member of the Clarks Creek Baptist Church.  Ms. Westover adored animals, loved sewing, quilting, crafting, reading, watching westerns, but especially loved doing things with her daughters.

She is survived by her daughters: Beverly (Ronnie) Kincaid of Owenton, KY, Sandra (Denny) Siler of Altoona, FL, Linda (Steve) Beach of Dry Ridge, KY; sisters: Norma  (late Charlie) Grubbs of Dry Ridge, KY, Marcus (Omer) Blackburn of Crittenden, KY, Doreen (Bob) Miles of Dry Ridge, KY, Regina Wright of Dry Ridge, KY, sister-in-law, Judy Burnette of Dry Ridge, KY; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Barbara was preceded in death by her son, David Eugene Elliston; a daughter, Terri Lynn Elliston; and a brother, Ernest Burnette.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 12, 2023 at the Elliston Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 13, 2023 at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Hill Crest Cemetery in Dry Ridge, KY.
