Bernice Orsborne Bell

Mrs. Bernice E. Orsborne Bell, a Latonia resident and formerly of Williamstown, passed away at her residence on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the age of 86.  She was the widow of the late Buford Brumback and Oscar Bell.

Bernice was born in Sparta, KY on April 10, 1936 to the late Stanley and Francis Smith Orsborne.  She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.  She was a former cafeteria worker for the Williamstown Independent Schools for 32 yrs.  She was a member of the Eastern Star, loved crossword puzzles, golfing, camping, cross stitch and crocheting.

She is survived by one son, Thomas "Tom" (Elaine) Brumback, one daughter, Lou Ann Clayton, one brother, Hershel Orsborne, four grandchildren, Stanley (Sarah), Caleb, Joshua, Cody and four great grandchildren.  In addition to two former husbands, Buford and Oscar, she is preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Lou Mason and her favorite dog, Angel.

A celebration of life visitation will be on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 2-4pm at the Elliston - Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown, KY.  Friends and family are encouraged to attend and share their favorite stories and memories of Bernice; this will take place during the visitation time.  As per Bernice’s request, there will be no funeral service. Burial will take place at Williamstown Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
