Betty Dunaway

Betty Dunaway of Corinth, KY was born March 9, 1948 in Owenton, KY and died Sunday, January 21, 2024 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 75 years.

She was the daughter of the late George W. and Lula B. Hunter Clemons, a homemaker and former housekeeper. On June 18, 1966 she was united in marriage to her husband, Jerry Dunaway who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son Jeffery Shawn Dunaway in 1993.

Surviving is one daughter, Shella Martin of Corinth; three grandchildren, Branden Martin, Jordan Martin, and Devon Martin; and five great-grandchildren, and her significant other of several years, Clint Dunaway.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the McDaniel Funeral Home, Corinth, KY with burial to follow in the Corinth IOOF Cemetery. Visitation will also be Saturday, 11:00am-2:00pm at the funeral home.
