Betty Jo Hedrick

Betty Jo Roles Hedrick was born June 4, 1934 in Lillydale, West Virginia and passed away November 15, 2024 in Edgewood, Kentucky at the age of 90.  She was the daughter of the late Opie Elbert and Gertrude Irene Pence Roles.

Betty graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelors of Science in Social Work.  She was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church in Williamstown, KY and was a homemaker.

On June 4, 1953 Betty was united in marriage to the love of her life, Kyle Reed Hedrick.  In addition to her husband of 71 years, Betty is survived by two sons: Kyle Reed Hedrick, Jr. of Carney, MD and William Wayne Hedrick of Kingston, TN; three daughters: Mary Jo Wodarezyk of Chase, MD, Patti Lynn Dreisch of Rostraver Twp, PA and Tina Lee Moore of Dry Ridge, KY; a brother: Robert Lee Roles of Greenville, WV; three sisters: Jean R. Perdue of Hendersonville, NC, Janice R. Downer of Covington, VA and Genetta P. Garcia of Alpine, CA; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation and funeral services will be held in Greenville, WV and will be updated on this obituary when the service details are available.  Burial will be in the Greenville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
