Mrs. Betty Bell Jackson of Williamstown, KY. and formerly of Pendleton County, KY. passed away Monday, September 10 at the Grant Center Nursing Home in Williamstown at the age of 79. Mrs. Jackson was born October 28, 1938 in Jonesville, KY. to the late James Clifford Lee and Mary Hearn Lee. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker and a member of the Roanoke Christian Church in Pendleton County. Mrs. Jackson had also been a former employee for Jefferson Electric and Sabatasso's in Florence, KY. and formerly worked at the McDonald's Restaurant in Richwood, KY.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her husband: Russell Jackson in 2001, also preceded by a son: Johnny Clifford Prather and by a granddaughter: Amy Lynn Prather, also preceded by a son-in-law: Lester Arnold.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by daughters: Catherine Vickers (Charles "Scooter" Kinman) of Dry Ridge, KY., Betty Arnold of Falmouth, KY., sons: William Prather, Jr. and his wife Signa of Corpus Christi, TX., Harry Prather and his wife Patty of Dry Ridge, KY., Michael Prather of Falmouth, KY., Mark Prather of Cincinnati, OH., a sister: Janet Margaret Stephens and her husband Gary of Dry Ridge, KY. She also has 15 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Bell Jackson will be conducted 1:00 pm Saturday, September 15 in the chapel of the Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, Dry Ridge with Rev. Paul Marksberry officiating. Visitation will be there on Saturday also from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will be in the Gumlick Cemetery, Pendleton County.
