Betty Jewell Roland Stamper

Betty Jewell Roland Stamper of Walton, KY was born April 4, 1937 in Grant County, KY and died Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Edgewood, KY at the age of 84.

She was the daughter of the late Russell and Rosa Workman Roland, a homemaker, and member of the New Banklick Baptist Church. On August 18, 1956 she was united in marriage to her husband Eugene Stamper, who preceded her in death in 1999. Betty enjoyed bowling in several leagues, farming, and planting flowers with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by 1 grandson, Brennan Stamper, 2 great grandchildren, Landon and Adaleigh Stamper, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Surviving are 3 sons, Kevin (Martina) Stamper of Walton, Barry (Tina) Stamper of Independence, and Brian (Racheal) Stamper of DeMossville; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Billy Roland of Covington and Russell Roland of Florida; and 3 sisters, Tessie Nantz of Burlington, Pat Barnett of Erlanger, and Cheryl Garrett of Louisville.

Funeral services will be at 11:00am, Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY followed by burial in the Hill Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Wednesday at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home, Crittenden, KY.
