Beverly Sue Roland

Beverly Sue Roland was born March 24, 1952 in Williamstown, Kentucky and passed away October 31, 2023 in Williamstown, Kentucky at the age of 71.  She was the daughter of the late Audrey Violet Fortner and Jesse H. Roland, Sr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse H. Roland, Jr. in 2013.

Beverly was a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who worked for the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.  She served many communities throughout her career, especially Owen and Grant Counties. In addition to serving through her work she was very involved with God's Community Church in Williamstown and loved helping others.  It was commonly said that you would never meet a more positive and compassionate person than Beverly Roland.  When she wasn't loving on people, Beverly enjoyed quilting and sewing as well as collecting antiques and quilts.

Aunt Sue as she was known by her family is survived by a sister: Cheryl Darlene Roland of Williamstown; a brother: Larry W. Roland of Williamstown; a niece: Dolores (Mark) Luke of West Liberty, KY; 4 nephews: Wayne L. (Sue) Roland of Williamstown, Mike Roland of Erlanger, Matthew Larry Roland of Demossville, and Jesse George (Sydney) Roland of Dry Ridge; and several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023 at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home in Williamstown.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Holbrook.
