Bill Edmond Mcdaniel, Sr.

June 17, 1943 — August 27, 2021

Mr. Bill Edmond McDaniel, Sr. of Williamstown, KY. passed away Friday, August 27 at his home following a long illness.  Bill was born June 17, 1943 in Hamilton, OH. to the late Irvin McDaniel and Leona Gabbard McDaniel.  Bill was a lifelong truck driver and years ago gave his heart and life to Jesus Christ as his savior and became a faithful member of the Shiloh Full Gospel Church in Corinth, KY.  Bill was also a member of the Galilean Baptist Church in Centerville, IN.  Bill was a member of the Teamsters Local 100 in Cincinnati, OH.  For many years Bill operated a small engine repair shop at his home and in more recent years had branched out into buying, selling and repairing golf carts.  In his younger days, Bill was an avid bowler.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Burdine Kersey.

On January 18, 1962 Bill was united in marriage to Barbara Ellen Webster McDaniel.  In addition to his wife of 59 years, Bill is survived by 3 daughters: Sue McDaniel of Dry Ridge, KY., Peggy Thomason and her husband Greg of Sanders, KY., Tabby McDaniel of Williamstown, KY., 2 sons: Billy McDaniel of Warsaw, KY., Mike McDaniel and his wife Donna of Mt. Washington, KY., 1 sister: Judy Frost of Erlanger, KY., 4 brothers: Robert McDaniel, Sr. and his wife Pauline of Dry Ridge, KY., Irvin McDaniel, Jr. and his wife Naomi of Independence, KY., Don McDaniel and his wife Debbie of Cynthiana, KY., Jerry McDaniel of Crittenden, KY., Grandchildren: Gregory, Ashley, Charlie, Meghan, Katie, Michael, Heather, Dalton.  Bill has several great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Bill will be conducted 6:00 pm Tuesday, August 31 at the Shiloh Full Gospel Church, Keefer Road, Corinth, KY. with Rev. Floyd Race and Rev. Danny Cross officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church on Tuesday, August 31 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm.  If memorial contributions are desired they may be directed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
