Billy Ray Roland

Billy Ray Roland of Covington, KY was born August 23, 1932 in Williamstown, KY and died Sunday June 19, 2022 at Edgewood, KY at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Walter Russell and Rosa B. Workman Roland.

Billy was a retired Master Electrician, former truck driver, and a member of the Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Covington. On April 4, 1985 he was united in marriage to his wife Sharon Lee McNeill Roland. In addition to his parents, Billy was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, Broadus G. Roland, Ottis Dean Roland, Bobby Roland and Glenn Roland, and 3 sisters, Dottie Seafort, Betty Jewell Stamper, and Snowda Proffitt.

In addition to his wife, Sharon, also surviving are: 2 daughters, Tamra Kay Pfadenhauer of Florence and Shari Rae Gould of Amelia, OH; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; foster son, Adam Dimmitt of Bromley; 1 brother, Russell Junior Roland of Tampa, FL; and 3 sisters, Tessie Nantz of Florence, Patricia Barnett of Erlanger, Debra Cheryl Garrett of Louisville.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Elliston-Stanley Funeral Homes, Williamstown followed by Burial in the Williamstown Cemetery. Visitation will also be Thursday 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
